The Group of Twenty - G20 is the premier forum for international economic cooperation. It plays an important role in shaping and strengthening global architecture and governance on all major international economic issues and it very pride moment for India to be the president of G20. Here are some of my points where G20 nation should focus.
1. Green Development, Climate Change & Life
The opportunity to lead G20 comes at a time of many existential threats and with the COVID-19 pandemic having exposed the fragilities of our systems under the huge impacts of climate change. Understanding that the issue of climate change cuts across the globe in the arenas of industries, our societies and all sectors, India offers the world life - Lifestyle for Environment. We need to focus to adopt environmentally-conscious practices and sustain the benefits of development for our future generations.
2. Promoting Growth of Entrepreneurship
As a student I expect from G20 to give students opportunities and platform, to encourage entrepreneurship rather than job to increase status and standard of living. this makes us proud to be an Indian and to eliminate biasness to help the youth to grow and develop themselves in a gender-neutral environment.
3. Promoting Practical Based Education System
One of the main areas where G20 needs to look is education system, because even after getting a degree students are not able to get desired job role because of lack of practical knowledge about what they taught. Practical experience will help them to grow better and have an understanding about what they are doing.
4. Supporting Women Entrepreneurs
Women entrepreneurship is a powerful tool for social change. By providing opportunities for women to own and operate businesses, they can break down barriers to economic opportunity and improve the quality of life for themselves and their families. Womens’ entrepreneurship will helps to reduce poverty and raise wages through market.
